Default Rays Lug Nut Key

Anyone have a Rays Lug Nut Key I can borrow for a couple days?

Need to get my tires replaced asap I have a nail in one of my rears.

I am going to be contacting some vendors about picking up a replacement one on Monday.

Thanks

you need to know the number on the lugnut itself. there are a high number of different keys. the best you could do would be to order a key, then grind out the slot on the key. just an fyi

I'm not doubting it worked on those three cars, but I'm positive Rays makes more than one key.

Try getting ahold of Mackin Industries directly. That's what we had to do when we lost ours.

If you do buy a new one I would pick up a spare.

I took a picture and sent it to evasive, they are tracking one down and hopefully sending it out.

PS black lugnuts in low light are hard to get pictures of with an iPhone lol

Thanks for the help guys!

Did you try Chico, maybe buy a whole set then resell them when you are done?

Not true.

Nik's Rays key worked on my rays, and another car's rays no problem. Maybe we got lucky on three cars.

It's a big socket with a groove.
Take a look at the slot location. It is moved around quite a bit to avoid this. I would say you got lucky.

OP, Sorry you re having issues finding one. Put up a pic and everyone can check their own slot locations... maybe getting you a loaner key.

Called Mackin Industries directly, they make 3 versions left center and right cut 7 sided lug keys. I have the center cut, working on getting one ordered.

Vito was the man and pulled the nail and plugged my tire while it was still on the car in his driveway. (Thanks again)

I am good for the next couple days while I wait for the key to show up.

Thx everyone for the help
