S2000 Value
Hi All, I am toying with the idea of selling my S2000, but am still not ready to part with her just yet. I honesly have NO idea what I should list it for if I DO decide to sell it, but I know I wouldn't waste it by just trading it in, I would want to sell it private party. Not really interested on parting it out either, so unless you are going to give me 4K, no, you can't buy my hardtop
I am looking for opinions on what I should list it for IF I decide to sell it.
It is a 2003 Silverstone, mint body-wise besides a few minor bumper rock chips any car of its year would have. I had a very good paintless dent guy recently remove any minor door dings, so it really looks great, double limo tint all around (which I know in this market is a blessing, in some others can be a curse). The soft top is basically brand new, only flaw is everytime I put it up it's dusty, lol.
My fiance worked for Honda, so before my Hondacare Expired I got all new HONDA gears(basically a tranny rebuild), New Clutch Master Cylinder, New coolant hoses, transmission/brake/coolant system flush, The Gas Cap filler hose replaced (so check engine light won't ever come on again from the gas cap coming loose), Autotensioner belt replaced, TCT replaced as well. Other than typical driver side seat wear, the interior is stock and mint as well. Stock radio back in it, only thing not stock is shift knob, lol...
It has Stern Beast II 18" wheels with good tread on all 4 tires. Tein S-Techs all around, Fukita CAI, Berk TP, HKS Hi-Power Exhaust. ALL stock parts available to be included in sale except for the stock wheels...
The ONLY downside IMHO of this car is that it has 'high' miles for an S2K, but not at all for a car of this year normally. It has 70K miles, but again, it's a damn honda, lol. And a lot of it is new anyways! lol
Here are a few pictures. PLEASE let me know an honest opinion on what I might be able to list it for. Thanks a lot guys.

Mine will be up for sale shortly as well. I'm in even a tougher position because mine is SC. Honestly parting out the hardtop is no brainer unless you add it to the price of the car, at least $2k which might be a turn off to some buyers who only want the convertible. The closer you can get it to stock the easier it will be to sell. Intake/exhaust could be swapped out in a couple hours. Springs would probably be easier to just leave alone.
I dunno, maybe $15k with hardtop?

What are you looking to get instead ? I agree that closer you get to stock will make an easier sell.
Think of the wheels like a pool for a house in that you probably will not get out of it what you paid for it.
I think 14-15k is what to expect with the hard top. But if you find someone who really likes the whole setup then maybe 15+.

I know the wheels aren't worth anything, but I was thinking, without the hardtop it wouldn't really be worth anything at all...? Ok, so if I put it to stock and sell all the aftermarket besides the wheels, what do you think...?
I am going to go without a car for a bit bc my Fiance and I work at the same place... But I am possibly waiting for just the right used Genesis Coupe... I know, I know, I should keep the S2K, lol....

I think If you sell it "as is" you will get around 13k for it with that mileage. If you part it out I would est between 10.5-11.5.
I think if you part it you could get
11,5k car
1.5-2k hardtop
1000 rims+tires
800 I/tp/e
100 springs
total 15400 est?
Thats my best guessestimation.
