servicing in AZ...
i have a clicking noise coming from the back at the point of engagement from letting of the clutch to the clutch grabbing the gear.. i've had mechanic friends of main say it sounds like the U-Joint.. I am mechanicly stupid so I have no idea.. I made an appointment with Honda of Tempe to have them look at it plus an oil change
I don't know their reputation.. maybe you can help me?
Other than that I haven't done too much.. What are some respected shops to get work done? I met the owners of Vivid Racing they seem pretty cool.. definitely looking at getting some parts thru them. Just basically looking for the general info
-gage
ps, i apologize if this is already posted some place else..

Gage,
Not to many people will recommend Tempe Honda. Several including myself prefer Honda Service Center of Gilbert on McQueen/Elliot for the east valley.
Honda Cars of Mesa is the owner and they can do warranty work. They have 2 techs that can work on the S. Contact Corey the service writer, very nice guy.
Good Luck,
Rick

From what I know there aren't any U-joints in the S2000's drive shaft. You may have some other problems in the rear end though (CV joints or loose axle bolt) Here's one thread I turned up by doing a search on "clicking." https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=128683
Supposedly there's a good S2000 mechanic at Right Honda, I also know a guy at Arrowhead Honda (Ramon) who supposedly has taken all the Honda courses on the S2000. Ramon seemed pretty confident about doing S2000 work when I talked to him while he was doing my spark plug TSB.

Go to Right Honda and ask for Andy to work on your car. He's a Master Tech and I've heard glowing reports about him. He's also a member of our club and goes by the name of HondaHack.
