Showcase Service Thread
I thought I would start a thread on Showcase's service department. Please share your experiences so that we can track problems and collect kudos for them.
I'm first:
I dropped my car off this morning for the 15K service, plus transmission and diff fluid changes, plus alignment. Chad came out and helped me without having to ask for him. The initial price on the 15K service was $160, plus $50 for the fluid changes; he talked to David and said that the prices would be discounted because I am part of the club...which I hadn't even mentioned.
I also got a free rental car, but I'm not clear if that is standard for the dealership or if it is a club perk. If you have any problems, mention Jordan's name (Chad had no idea who I was, but knew that Jordan was negotiating with the dealership).
I forgot to give them my Honda UK alignment specs, so I had to call back and read them off to Chad. He was more than happy to help. I also had to request that they not wash my car...if you don't mention it, expect it to come back washed.
Ok, final results:
$37 for diff fluid change
$42 for transmission fluid change
$122 for 15K service
$0 for alignment (couldn't get car to UK specs so they gave it to me free)
Free plastic oil change sticker on windshield! (Not a free oil change...a free sticker)
No dents, no nicks, no scratches on car or wheels. Overall, handing my baby over to strangers wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.
