If you have a breather tank check that or the breather hose may have poped off.

If you mean the driver's side, the only thing I can think of that would cause smoke is either a coolant hose leaking or the oil pan seeping a bit of oil. I don't think it is going to get hot enough on that side for oil to burn off though.


Did you happen to top off the oil and spill a little down the side? Have you been using the A/C at all lately? If so you might want to check the lower radiator hose, mine managed to pop out of the holder and come to rest against the hot side of the A/C and start burning. Lucky for me those Samco hoses are pretty tough. Only fluids on drivers side are coolant, brake/clutch or leaky valve cover/oil pan.
