Step in the right direction
Great move, but the 22 dollar an ounce exposes AZ's true agenda with this ballot.

I can see it becomming legal for non medical purposes too with a $220 an ounce tax, and this would definitely feed their greed.

Arizona must be trying to hire more cops or something with these new laws, a proposal to carry a concealed weapon without a permit and now making pot legal for those with "medical needs" doesnt sound like a good combo to me.

Hey, my eyes are up here.
Thats illegal, and besides, you all have perfectly good microwaves.
"Jesus Randy, your balls." "I know right in front of a cop."
This whole season has been full of WIN!!!

The initiative process is started by the populace. The tax is initiated by the state government - they are two separate processes. It's about time we started to realize the medical benefits and not criminalize this at the taxpayer's expense. We should reduce overcrowding in jails by releasing those busted for casual use. If it becomes a source of income like taxes on cigs and alcohol, I have no problem with that either, as long as it's a reasonable tax. And finally, I've never seen stoned people get violent and decide to shoot up a school (maybe a convenience store to get their munchies?), so trying to say that combining legal mary jane and legal concealed carry is a bad idea doesn't really ring true to me.
