Anyone here do this? Or know a place to do it?

Did you try aircraft paint remover?
|
Or you can sandblast at most powdercoating shops but way pricier than aircraft cleaner remover.

So they stripped and then sandblasted afterward to remove the stripping chemicals and make it better for sticking again. |

Why are you stripping them? Do you intend to powder coat them? Do you want a bare metal wheel?
If you intent to have them refinished why not just have the person doing the refinishing strip them for you. They have the tools and equipment to do it right the first time. |
