Well folks, I got the VW GTI MK2 VR6 swap motor running. Talk about a sleeper until I go WOT and you hear the beast. They don't call the motor VRSEX for no reason.

After driving both the S2K and VR back to back, I would call it dead even. We're gonna film some footage both from a dig and from a roll, I'll probably drive the S2K while my friend drives the Dub. We both know how to drive (no, really, the SCCA events put us about dead even).

The runs will take place with a bone stock 03 S2K vs. a 2500lb car sporting about 180whp but FWD.

I'd like to hear your opinions as to the projected outcomes. All done on a closed course of course.

Runs will be from a dig, from a roll @ 20mph, and from a roll @ 60mph.

 

Come on out to a track event with the VW. I'll give you a good run. Only mod to the engine is a cold air intake.
