tech day?
just to satisfy my own curiousity, when's the next tech day? seeing all the mods i have done, i should have a few tricks for those who are doing some of the same work. mind you, i'm one hell of an anti-mechanic so you let me work on your car at your own risk.

Well, we just had a tech day at place in Dec. but I am sure there are some peeps that might need stuff done. My car is still down, but I am hoping that she will be back to normal later next week. I am up for a tech day, but I think the next one will be in the later spring. And Rick, I have plenty of crush washers for both the tranny ans diff. I will repay you when I see you again.

We can do it at my place, have some food and drink? Got lots of jackstands, jacks, air tools, and tools and most importantly space and no Nazi CCR people. :-]

never been to one myself actually. but i'd imagine a lot of the S owner who have already done some of the stuff that other S owners want to do help them out with their installs, avoiding some of the pitfalls they made themselves. of course, it would be somewhere where we have access to all the tools necessary.
which reminds me ... if we do have one, and someone has an upcoming sc install, i have my crank pulley tool sitting in the garage for just such an install. a full sc install is prob too much in the scope for a tech day, seeing it takes quite a while, but it'll save someone from having me ship it up to them.

We mostly eat and drink and pretend we're working. Then, before we leave, we smear our hands and faces with grease so our wives will think we've been busy on the cars all day...
