Default Tires

So where in town should I get my tires replaced?

also any recommendations?

The Fuzions (suck, but good enough in louisiana) and the Hankooks (fantastics in Louisiana) are on the short list. But I would definitely like to know what the locals use.

BTW looking for moderate performance and better life. I have a spare set of racing slicks (HOMOs - Hooisers front/Kuhmos back) waiting for the stickers to get removed. Also may looking getting two sets of daily tires (have a set of rims collecting dust).

thanks
mark

I always use Discount Tire, never had a problem and always have received good service.

I have been running the Fuzions for the past 6 months and have no complaints. I printed out a tirerack price sheet and the Firestone dealer off of Baseline and McClintock matched it (Think it was $15 a corner for mount and balance).

I went to the Big O's on Rural and Broadway (think that's where they're at)... $655 for a set of Falken 452's installed, balanced, and aligned.

If you're an ASU student, they have a discount so the alignment winds up being essentially free.

If you go OEM Earnhardt Honda is about the same price after our discount as anywhere and you can get an alignment from Cesar at the same time.

I get my alignment done at ABC Nissan. Yea I know its a Honda but thats the only alignment guy I trust to do a good job. As far as tires if its just for streets I would just run something like bf goodrich gforce sport or falken fk452 or yokohama s drive. If you're going to beat up on the car I would say Nitto NT01 or potenza RE960as.
