Anyone have a good experience getting there top replaced under warranty? And by which dealership? MY06 is starting to develop a "wear" hole on both side. I covered the frame in soft felt to slow the process, but I want a new top none the less. Anyone?

 

I cannot stress enough whatever dealership you go to, make sure they do not send it to Trim Fit.

I was told the Scottsdale Honda once used Verdone Upholstery. If its getting replaced under warranty then you want a place that will send it to Verdone.

I had mine replaced at Tempe Honda and they sent it to Trim Fit. After having it returned 5 times for bad fitment and trunk leaks they let me take it to verdone. However I had to pay out of pocket first and then they credited me back the money once it was done.

You might want to see if Scottsdale still sends it to Verdone. I wish no s2k owner the misery I went through with that top getting replaced properly.

 

I had mine done at Earnhardt's but that was when Cesar was there.

 

moral of the story, don't do it.

 

+1 for Verdone, they replaced my top after a break-in and it looks showroom minty!
