Track day!
The weather is cooling off and track season is heating up. Clubracingaz.com will be at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend and featuring the BMW club's driving school. What that means is any novices will need to sign up through BMWCCA but if you are an intermediate or advanced driver you can come out and drive the Grand Am road course for very few $'s. Spectators are free and it is guaranteed you'll see some great cars doing what they do best. There will also be drifting and wheel 2 wheel racing for your viewing pleasure. If you have any questions let me know and I hope to see you out there.

Last call Ladies! We'll be out there all day tomorrow & Sunday. If you've never been: Exit I-10 onto Avondale Blvd. and go south until you see the racetrack. Turn in the first entrance available and you'll need to go to the left, sign some waivers and go through the tunnel. Find a parking spot anywhere available but be cautious of parking behind any cars that may be going on track or if it appears to be an open spot but some tools are in front of you...odds are that you'll have someone asking you to move within 20 minutes because he was out on track and you stole his spot
Hope to see you there!!

great time out there! curt, ryan, merv goo to see you all! the turtle did very well and i thin she will be ready for next weeks events at spring mountain!!! i rode with curt to get a feel of how a rear wing changes the cars posture on track, seemed to plant the rear very well!
Yes, I concur that the wing does make a difference. I picked up anywhere from 5-7 mph on the NASCAR 3-4 bank using the wing. The car felt really stable and gave me the confidence to push the car more! It also made the rear end very stable under braking for turn 2 coming off the bank at over 100mph. Overall, I consider the wing test a success! Thanks for letting me and Ryan try it out, Curt!
