I'll be returning from deployment in a few weeks and need to do lots of maintenance to get the S2k back in tip top shape. I'll be changing the oil, differential fluid, trans fluid myself. What is a reputable and fair priced shop/mechanic that can replace tires, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, and do a wheel alignment?

Caveat: I'll be buying the RE-11A and yes I havent had pork since I left in February =(

Thank You. Hopefully I'll be back in time for the next meet up.

Brake and clutch you can do yourself with a gravity bleed, easy and hassle free other than making sure the reservoirs don't go dry during the process. Firestone near the Tucson Mall does good alignments and will do custom stuff if you make an appointment and let them know what settings you want. I'm pretty sure they can hook you up with RE-11A being Firestone and all, though I'm pretty sure you'll have to custom order those with anyone in town including them (they might possibly have them at the distribution center and could get them in fairly quickly). Are you looking for stock sizing? I can ask when I go get my alignment checked this weekend.

I haven't had them work on my S but I've been using Precision Acura and Honda on my two Acuras since 1999. They've never done me wrong in the past. For tires I've used Discount on Speedway/dodge and Furriers off Sunrise/swan

Aaron at Discount Tire always hooks me up. He is currently at Broadway/Camino Seco and will make sure you get a good price and tires that are mounted without damage.

For everything else like fluids/alignment, I go to Brake Masters on 22nd/Harrison. Even though it's a chain store, it really caters to enthusiasts. Jerry is the GM there and owns a GT-R. Also, Erek who is a tech there just picked up a S2000 so they are very familiar with the car.

See you around soon!
