Vanity plates
I broke down in a moment of Vodka induced weakness the other night and submitted applications for a couple of vanity plates.
91 GTI - "A2VR6" on a U of A plate
^ the MK2/A2 chassis never came with a VR6 from the factory. It is becoming popular to swap in the VR6 motor into this lighter chassis and have fun hunting down Mustangs and Camaros with the V8 muscle. And, apparently, S2000s ....

SMLUL8R on my RX-8. The 8 is an obvious reference to name of the car. "Smell you later" phrase stolen from The Simpsons TV show among other places.
I was thinking about something like 12krdln for the S. They changed the redline on the yellow ones to 12000 rpm to compensate for the extra weight of the fastest color.
