Awesome video dude! That looks like so much fun, I can't wait to get my car on a track. I don't think Ill be able to anytime soon.. I still need to change tranny/diff oil, tires, alignment before I race her. Oh, and I need to pick up a helmet also.

1. No down shifting on before turn 6 dude! That will get you in the wall someday. Just break then let it go then downshift in the concrete patch.

2. Letting go the steering wheel. WTF?!

I was hoping Mervin would ride along with me and give me some pointers (it had been about 6 months since I had been out there ) Yea I (semi) let go to catch it again when the car gets its arse around the corner....I've seen techniques where you either let go of the wheel and catch when you have the desired slip angle, or you do it yourself....Idk why I let go, I guess I freaked out


If you are talking about the downshift when I was behind the rx7? it was because I was around 3k rpm I needed to drop it into second so I could pass him. I usually leave it in third through the carousel. But thanks for the pointers man U need to get the dust off of your car and come out lol.

 

yea it was a turbo....hey I would be afraid too if I had that expensive/quick of a car lol....He was going fast on the straights though There was some black smoke coming out of the car when the turbos kicked on
