Good question. UMS does all our contract tuning once the car is setup and ready to tune. This works well as you couple our expertise with the S2000 and UMS' expertise with tuning. We have experience & tools (flow meter, etc) specificly with individual throttles on the S2000 (we have a set in stock in fact) and know what it takes to make them work.

take care,

^^^ El Centro

Does UMS install cams/ITB's? Since I have to drive 350 miles one way to get there I NEED this to be a 1 day, 1 stop affair.

BTW - I emailed you regarding price and availability for a tune and you never got back to me? Where's the love?

I agree w/ Roger. If youre closer to the SD side you may want to goto Church (Church Automotive testing). Only 100 miles from SD
Heard about Church's from a lot of people with high recommendations.

However, to avoid CA sales tax and shipping fees I have to choose AZ (bought a lot stuff from Vivid).

Can anyone give me a cost to tune and ETA on the time it takes.

Chris?

Consider being in town for 2-5 (8hr work days) days for install and tuning. Just trying to let you know that there is no way this will be done in 1 day.

it can be done in one day.. if your pockets are deep enough.. i did 2 engine swaps in one day.. both with custom wiring.. all ran out of the shop in one day...

i would have paid the sales tax and got better tunning in cali.. some shops are cheaper then shops here that will make up on the sales tax..

If youre gonna do AZ id say go with SoS, but I again agree w/ Roger. You may want to price everything out and see how much more its gonna cost in california, if any. In my opinion time is money, so if it costs a bit more to do it elsewhere in less time, then id consider that worth it.

That being said, california shops could be 4x more for all I know so this may be a non issue.
