I have been asked to write up an article about our group, making us The August Featured Member/Group of The Month on S2Ki.com. I need some good stook stories or personal tidbits that I can weave into a tapestry of prose....or at least toss into Notepad.

I know that we have some pretty good photos of the cars. If I can find a good group photo showing a major percentage of the group, I might toss that in, too. Anybody got photos that are particularly good?

 

You can talk about the 8/18/01 meet?!

 

The article is due by the end of July -- Hey, Back-cracker, could you change the meet date so that I can get Irvine pictures into the article?

 

Tell them about the wonderful twisties here in AZ. Do not tell them about the blonde.

I think our first drive was a pretty good story. Spacers in the springs, flat tire, speeding ticket, and rain. Not bad...

And then there was the damn Mustang that slowed us down on Yarnell Hill.

And then there was the hot blonde from California in the 4 door Integra that tried to keep up with Eric & I going up Yarnell Hill. (Very valiant effort!)

And then there was chasing an M3 out of Payson at 102mph.

And then there was oil all over the garage floor....

 

While having lunch in Prescott I told Tang about the proposition I received at a light in Phoenix. Next drive I will clue you in. I think you were at the other end of the table.

I haven't even started -- I have been getting killed at work. HondaGal says that she has a series of groups lined up, and she will publish in the order that she receives the articles. Since it is late July already, I am going to shoot for the September article.

I will get a couple of hours in the next7-10 days and write up a draft and send it to the usual suspects for comments/corrections/enhancement.
