WOW! What a time at the track day on Saturday. I got my first ride in a car around PIR, with Mervin (RFever). I was amazed with how well the S2k stuck in the turns. Going into turn one at around 115 mph was a rush. To bad this guy in an E46 M3 decided to hold us (plus cars that were way quicker than us) up most of the session.

If you have not ridden in an S2k on a racetrack with an experienced driver you HAVE to do so!

Thanks again Mervin. I will for surely be back at the next event to watch and maybe get another ride .

eh... s2000's at the track are overrated

mervin is a damn good driver... he was really polite when i blew chunks in his car during one of the laps....

 

The Porsche GT3 Cup blew by us like we were standing still. I that car!


Mervin is a VERY good driver.

 

I shoulda come down there, but I doubt Mervin wants to drive with my fat ass in the passenger seat. I'm sure I'd screw the whole thing up. Prolly wouldn't puke tho,

I placed 5th with a 1:13.8

List of excuses:

1. They had more horsepower
2. My tires were cold
3. I missed a shift
4. Forgot to mount video cam and it was bouncing in the passenger footwell
5. Cesar broke the alignment rack so who knows what that looks like

 

Thanks for coming and hanging out with us! It was very nice meeting David (AZDavid) on Sat and Bryan (replica) on Sun. I'm more than happy to give rides! Its fun having someone to chat with on track

Ryan with his excuses still managed to put down a time faster than what I usually run! That boy's got skills! He *is* the fast guy to beat around the track in an S. I'm gonna have to get in on that action the next time we do this. The guy who won is Brady with a 240sx with a smoking 1:08.4 Thats FAST. Just for comparisons, he's 3 seconds off the race competition coupe VIPERS!!

So, come on out again the next time we do this. You get to see a whole bunch of cool/fast cars doing what they're built to do, its loads of fun and its free to ride!!
