Thumbs up WTB Cusco 6 point cage

I've been keeping my eye out for one of those fancy blue cages for my LBP in the FS section, and only see these things on the East Coast at high prices and expensive or no shipping offered.

Are there any AZ shops that deal with Cusco cages?

Can anyone confirm if the standard cage will fit an 08 or if they change throughout the years?

(I found out the hard way that an AP1 Invidia exhaust will rub on the body on my 08)

IIRC, you may have problems with the interior passenger side floor mount.

Hey Cody,

We deal with Cusco direct(Vivid Racing) I'm on my way to Germany right now, but when I get back I can check for you, OR Contact Sean there at EXT:226, let him know you are from S2KI and that I sent you to him, tell him to hook you up hehe. Or if you want I can check when I get back. last time I checked there was 2-3 6 point w/ harness available. I need to double check fitment for you like Chris said.

have you thought about a custom cage? might pay alittle extra more but you probably wont have fitment issues..

I agree. The Cusco cages are more for looks in my opinion... They wont pass tech for alot of organizations. Even if you're not going to race or anything, how safe can they be if they don't pass tech? I personally think saving up a little more money and getting a custom cage installed would be a better option. If not, I'm sure you could spend your money on something that you will get more out of.

I too was concerned about this as everyone and their brother said that it was an unsafe bar. Then I found these pics and felt better about my purchase. Cody, are you looking for an full cage or just a bar. Personally, I'm against a full cage in a street car as like you I'm a pretty tall guy and would worry about my head hitting the side bars. OT, Mugen 3pc FTW!
