I hope you got OEM hardware or something more than shipping for the money.
Because it didn't come out of pocket. Seats were stolen.

Hardware is meh, look for a full review in the next couple days.

That really sucks to hear that someone jacked your seats. Thankfully your car didn't get totaled out.

Also, I don't know how much a hardtop will protect you from theft going forward. I'd do everything you can to bolt that thing on there and make sure it is as difficult as possible to remove it.

I'm thinking security torx on all the brackets and seats will make it a bit more of a challenge, but you can still get bits for that. Still harder than 14mm/16mm sockets...

Yeah, something like that is a good idea. What a shitty thing to have to deal with. Is the hardware up front bolt in hardware as well? Your top will come off a lot less if you have to take 30 minutes to install/remove it but at least it wont get stolen.

So I take it you do not have a garage for the car?

What? No I garage it every day, seats were stolen while visiting Vegas. No, no front hardware was included and this did indeed piss me off. I ordered the bolt in brackets yesterday, but will have to use the OEM latches for now.

Ouch, while in Vegas? How did you get home? Drive without seats?

Fastened with one bolt on the clutch side at the front, plywood underneath the other corners.

all the transportation I was finding was about $600 and didn't really excite me too much.

Damn man, sorry to hear this...
Was it at a hotel or a residential area?

Speaking of theft, I had a sketchy ass dude respond to my hardtop ad and try to find out where I live. I tracked his email to a face, name, car, and license plate. There are some crazy people out there
