i don't live there but I live by there.. whoever jacked me i know was watching my car.. they had to have known my schedule.. they took my CDs also.. i hope they like japanese music.. just figuring out the numbers in my head to replace the interor and soft top I think its going to come out to a little over or under $5000.. exterior was also damage.. I spoke to a dispatch offer who filed the report. he said they are going to finger print my car which I think is BS... If they use super glue or the dust car is going to be destoryed.. super glue is hard to get off and the dust stains..

my car was pretty much stock looking.. i just got a hard top and an alarm but didnt install it.. keep an eye out guys..

wow 12 grand is almost total the car territory. I'm assuming insurance will cover it but sorry to hear none the less. It makes me glad I have a security guard looking at my car all night and day.

Once again, sorry for your loss.

Anyone who parks an S2000 outside overnight without a top of the line security system is INSANE given all the thefts posted here. And we are but a small percentage of all S2000 owners. Just think of how many thefts have gone on that we don't know about.

I'm about ready to buy a sniper rifle and leave my car outside as bait.

We need to start etching our seats or figure something out to stop this from happening.

How about we ID which juristiction most of these have happened in, contact the city police chief/commisioner and request that they do a bait operation?

I have another idea that I am not going to talk about here. Just need to talk to a friend of a friend that knows somebody and will be more than willing to share the idea once I get some things sorted (but not here).
