So I'm just driving to work minding my own business, and pop!, my back window shattered. Totally clueless as to what happened.

Happened to me when I shut a door. Turned out to be defective glass. Dealer replaced it no charge.

Yeah, those tempered glass shatter like crazy~ even if it was a small, pointy rock, it has the potential to do so.

I would take it to the dealer and tell them that it happened driving down the road. see if they will fix it, and you may even push your luck to get the tint done as well, but I wouldn't count on that

LOL. The dude got his hand jacked up~ I kinda figured it would do something like that.

But regardless, I don't think hammers do the trick as well as something a little sharper... though it seemed like he really put up some force behind that hahahaha~

I know a hole-punch or a screwdriver would most likely require less force.
