Default X-brace install

I hear you guys say this is a cake walk, what, just jack up the car (jackstands) and bolt it on?

2nd - easiest mod I've done on the car. Just like you say - jack up the car & bolt it on. No Japanese instructions necessary.

I was fortunate to have mine installed by Gloffer when we had our "tech-day" at CEO2B's house, along with the clearing
of the headlights. Can't wait to go up there again this year.

You can do it from jackstands or with the car on a ramp. Take out the four OEM bolts and then fit up the X-brace. Try and get a couple of bolts in to hold it in place. Then put the other two bolts in and bolt the X-Brace to the car by tightening evenly on the four bolts.

Be a little careful, you don't want to strip the threads in the frame. If your having trouble getting the bolts to thread in, then loosen the other bolts that are holding the subframe connectors, so that you can line up the bolts, subframe and X-brace as close as you can.

I think the final bolt torque is 36 ft-lbs. I used some medium thread lock on the bolts. While your there you just as well tighten up all the other subframe bolts to the same torque.

No thread lock on mine. Yes to the torque wrench.
