and i just hit the first wall of the week! =( i knew it was too good to be true! some how the bolt for the engine mount doesnt fit anymore. its like the hole either got smaller or the bolt got bigger in a matter of a few hours!!!

its because its cold out... it gave the hole shrinkage!!

But the car is in a heated garage? Anyways, so i skipped school today and finished up. I had to rig the mount up to work, but it should hold. lol I havent started it up yet though bc i am not sure i hooked up the oil lines up the right way...and the battery is dead...and im not exactly sure i have everything hooked up. lol

and it finally alive!!! lol it making some weird noises, but i dont have time to figure them out. and smokes a shitload while standing still. maybe i put too much oil in???

does it smell like its burning oil ? that engine shouldn't be smokeing and as for the weird noise, your probably didnt hooked up something correctly or smoething is lose. I never had any problems out of that engine at all.

very possible to much oil. also that engine has been sitting for a few weeks. i would unhook the turbo from the throttle body to make sure the motor is hooked up fine

Turbo is not hooked up. oil thing went away, but as soon as i drove it, it started vibrating like crazy. i checked the install and everything is good. i think maybe the clutch??? im going to pull the tranny this weekend and see. I hope thats it because i am really sick of working on this thing.
