He nails the alignment (to my spec) and lets me sit in the car.
I told the guy that I wanted to do this when I got my alignment. He told me that in his experience it has never made much difference, but I told him that I would still like to try it. Sure enough when he loosened the bolts I sat in the car and the specs displayed on the screen didn't budge. In fact, the wind blowing the head of the light bar made more of a difference!

AP1 guys, if you have the stock 290lb rear springs, you're not going to make much difference in the back end. 70% of your weight goes to the driver's rear tire. Maybe a half inch on the stock springs, even less on aftermarket springs.

Miatas are a different story: stock rear spring was like 90lbs.

I suppose my Buddy Club RSD's had a lot to do with it

My skinny 150 lb ass doesn't make much of a difference.

Speaking of my RSD's, Robbie said that he loves how my car is set up. He said that it felt great on the track. I think I've put my money where it really counts, and I've definitely found a sweet spot with the damping.

I got out of the car while we were aligning it. Rear driver side camber changed the most (.2 deg).

I weigh 190#. The greatest change was the in the toe settings and the effect on the thrust angle.

Springs are 350# front, 400# rear.

speakin of, i went to delta world tire today to get an alignment. less than 3hrs from drop off time to finished time (considering there were 2 cars infront of me). 89.99 for custom alignment ... i went -1 in the front, -2.5 in the rear and max usable caster in the fronts... im very pleased.
