Anyone got time to help with a coilover install?
I just got my coilovers today (decided against PSS9's and went with BC RSD's). I'm not worried about the install because it looks like a monkey with tools could do it. I know some of you have had experience with adjusting coilovers (something I really don't know much about). Does anyone with experience have some free time to help with the install before Saturday? I'm looking to get an alignment at some point on Friday, so I suppose they need to be installed by Friday around noon. I know it's short notice, but I figure it's worth a shot.
Let me know.... (there might be a WOT run in it for you once I join the 500+ club!)

Thanks I'll give it a shot... I just don't want to be bucking around on Saturday like a p*rnstar on viagra.
(did you know it uses $$$$$$$$'s if you type p*rnstar?)
Okay... now that I have a better idea of how they are adjusted, can anyone recommend how much I should preload that springs? Same front/rear? And my offsets are +50F and +63R, so I should be able to go fairly low. Not looking to slam it into the weeds like some of you guys. How much should I move the bottom mount to achieve said drop without lowering too much?

you want to keep the dampening on the rear a little softer than the front just keep that in mind.

I'm confused.
The front looks fine. I accidentally slammed it, but it looks fine. The drivers side rear is about a finger higher than the passenger side. I can't figure it out! I adjusted the coilovers to the SAME height! Unless the car is unbalanced side to side from the factory, there shouldn't be a weight issue causing this. I'm going to measure again tomorrow and see what's up.
The good news is that I took the car through an S turn just up the road. The road was damp, so I didn't want to push the new (unfamiliar) suspension too much. I held about 50 mph through two sharp 90* turns back to back and it didn't rub, so I suppose that is good.
Does anyone want to get together tomorrow to fine tune suspensions before the big day?
