Broken Diff?!?!
So last night andy saw me stuck at 3132 and walker road where i thought i snapped my diff. well honda auto impressed me as they sent a tow truck in and towed my car to the shop. Got a call from ken this morning where he told me i broke an axel??! I am still bewelered as i have had the car supercharged for 5 months with nothing breaking and then on a normal drive the back breaks. well anyways Ken said it should be covered under warranty and it looks like the diff was leaking fluid which could be the culprit, thing is they were suppose to have fixed that the last two times it was in the shop. Anyway i know they will take care of me but i just thought i would share my story.
Glad you are getting taken care of, still sucks that it happened though. Like I said last night, and Keith mentioned above, good thing the S/C was already taken off. Timing is everything
Sorry to hear about your diff. Actually any pro mechanic is going to know that you've been working on that engine unless you really cleaned it up after taking off the SC. Either way it sounds like they are going to fix it. Hope it works out for you.
It probably has been stressed for a while after your fiascos at the drag strip! At least if wasn't the diff that went out while you were driving. Hope you get everything squared away man.
yea i know holmes told me i was the first one to break the axel, they knew i was supercharged but they arent going to tell the honda inspectors. when i picked up the loaner car this morning, Ken was cleaning the car all up. Anyways i will know more tommorrow when they show up. Until then i have a 4 door car that can transport my front bumper to macspeed for some work
Glad they are gona hook you up! Did you file a claim with your insurance or is your car still under warrenty?
Speaking of Macspeed, your boy JJ did me right with the lip man! He had it on in like 30min! Did a good job too. Just need to paint the screws he used black, they were silver.
