I agree with bobby, if you can @ a decent price you should, then part it out to fund your next ones mods! I'm trying to find another one right now, I'm hoping to pick up a wrecked or salvage title car for track duty.

You should have taken all the aftermarket parts off. they are YOURS anyways. Unless its listed in the declarations page they dont have to cover any aftermarket policy. Only exception is if you have a policy that covers collector cars like haggerty that do a value of the car rather then a depreciated value. Good luck to you as it can be pretty tricky with insurance companies.

what insurance i have is of zero relevance. if they total the car, they are responsible for making me whole. look at it like property damage.

There insurance is not responsible for your mods on your car. It only covers OEM parts. Again unless stated in your insurance which would be considered surplus in which case your insurance would cover it. Then they would sue the person that hit you. I worked in insurance for a while and it isn't cut and dry unfortunately.

Hey I hope you come out ahead. The only thing that helps is the fact the MOST oem parts are more expensive then aftermarket. Thats why having your factory seats stolen or even ripped alone can total the s2000. With that being said by law they are not required to cover aftermarket parts and it is at there discretion.
