Custom Sub Box DONE!
Hey Guys!
I had a 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch HE that I took out of my Accord when I sold it. The only problem was the box it was in wasn't going to fit in the S and still let me actually put anything else in the trunk.
I debated a while on whether I wanted to make a fiberglass or MDF box or buy an MDF box off of ebay. In the end Ryan and I decided to just go for it ourselves. I had a few different ideas and we decided to run with it!
The plans where loosely based off of the designs that can be found in the Electronic Junkie's FAQ.
I'm not sure of the exact dimensions that we ended up with b/c most of it was just trial and error.
I didn't get any pics of us actually building it, but here are some pics of us filling in the screw holes and prepping it for primer. We used a wood sealant/primer on the inside and outside box, followed by some auto primer, followed by some color matched LBP paint complements of Toby at O
