Default Forza 2

Hey all, I've been wanting to get a driving simulator game. Is Forza 2 the best? Also, do you need steering wheels or pedals? My son has an X box but I would prefer a PC based game if possible.

Please advise......

hmm... i love forza mike and i play it all the time and i would have to say it gets you there when it comes to physics of the car and such. sounds corny but i felt comfortable at the track because i beat this game into my head before the event. i do have a steering wheel and pedals and that helps alot. as far as PC games go there isnt much to go with, most that i have played have been to arcady and the physics off. i say go with forza 2!!

Walk out to garage, sit in S2000, place both hands on steering wheel, make loud roaring noises, tell Wendy your just practicing

Gran Turismo. Close to a Simulator as possible. Thats what some of the JDM pro racers use. I mean it even says the real driver simulator in the title of the game.

only thing with gt5 is you NEED a steering wheel. the trigger controls on the xbox gives you the ability of throttle steer and your able to remove ABS. hell they made a tv show on the realism of forza and brought in pro indy drivers to help design the game. I love GT5 but the pressure sensitive controller on the PS3 is useless to me

Forza 2 is the only way to go on realistic games Keith! Bobby and I play all the time. I have the steering wheel as well, but it takes a while to get use to. It is very realistic though, it even has force feed back on the wheel!

yea.. lol thats how i found out that 4.77s on the s2000 makes you shift wayyy to much, i did the same track twice, once with 4.77s and one with 4.10s. i was faster out of the corners with the 4.77s. but i found myself shifting waaayyy to much

We also found out that a 1000hp vette is hard to get traction with!
