I agree with the guys on this one. It would be $20 well spent even if it is tough to part with. You can raise your prices on your gear to cover the $20.

Good luck with your sales.

btw... if u haven't already noticed, i purchased a membership like saturday or yesterday w/ some of my graduation money... would still prefer to deal locally though so i can do the intake, exhaust, or tp/cat swap at my place... and shipping for my oem header and heat shields would be a HUGE PITA!!! but willing to ship radio...

Im in Jacksonville, so... lemme know whats up. As far as a sound difference, i had it on the car with the stock exhaust and you definetly notice vtec. It adds a significant growl when you get on the gas. As far as hp gains go.. im not sure. It was on the car when i bought it, so i have nothing to compare it to.

gains will be minimal with the short ram. benefits will be no hydro lock worries like that with cold air intake and better sound throughout rpm range

Wouldnt that AEM Bypass valve clear up the hydro-lock situation? I dont think those are that expensive....I just want a stock airbox lol!

I might be coming home to Texas (DFW area) in 2 weeks. If anybody wants to trade their Red/Red & Black Interior (Seats, Carpet, Console, Door Pnls) - let me know!! (I have black) Also looking to buy a CF hood when I'm in town so I can leave my stock hood @ my Gf's shop. If you have a used one in good shape that you're willin' to sell.... Hook me up!!!

well i guess i've officially started the buy/sell thread for ark/la/tx! haha.
but anyways, with the short ram, there's just about a 99.9% chance u can't hydro lock so bypass valve is pointless. the bypass valve is basically made for the aem v1 cold air intake (basically same as v2 but not as many gains and not as loud as v2) but the bp valve isn't compatible with the v2.

if you put the bypass valve on the intake.. it is pointless to have a CAI. you still suffer heat soak it feels before vtec.
