Default Fun fun fun.

I'm (hopefully) getting new tires this week. Then plan to go for a drive on the weekend.

I helped my friend move to California and when I got home there was an enormous box in the driveway with a bow on it. It is/was for Valentine's Day. She actually bought it from the local Honda dealer who quoted a price significantly lower than Hardtop Guy would be after shipping. It arrived in less than a week from order date and we installed it a couple days later. Excellent experience over all.

I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but the side windows and soft top window are all tinted. The hard top is not. I'm wondering if, and how much, I should tint the new rear window. I also need a rack, but I have plenty of time to wait on that, and will probably make a hoist anyway.

TJ pointed me in the direction of the PVC stand which he built one of. I think now he uses the Hardtop Guy stand. It's really nice - compact, and collapses for easy storage when not in use.

I will likely hold off building anything until after I've moved (to Washington state), and then go all out and build a ceiling mounted hoist in the garage at the new house.

Actually I'll be building two. One for the S and one for the Jeep
