The Hornets are the number 2 seed, the Mavs are number 7. It amazes me, how many people (press lead), are picking the Mavs to win. This is exactly the way the entire season went. In the beginning, everyone said Hornets were playing over their heads, lucky. I admit, the thought crossed my mind also. But, when a season is as long as an NBA season and you consistently perform well, spending much time as the number 1 team in the West, how can anyone still believe it's luck. If you look at the season as a whole, statistics say, there is no possible way Dallas can win this series. I am predicting, Hornets in 5; Dallas will win 1 at home. And, if they give Kobe the MVP because he's never received one in the past, I'll puke!! Chris Paul is, hands down, the MVP of the NBA in 2008.

The mavs are playing over their heads. Fortunately they have Chris Paul to act as a human step ladder for their game.

Hornets in 4. Hornets will not lose until the finals when even CP3 won't be able to overcome the three headed monster in Boston. But it should be a great series if N.O. and the Celts meet in the finals.

Well with CP3's Saturday's performance and Kobe's lack of, I think that may have sealed the deal for MVP. A similar if not better performance this Tuesday will definitely do it, but what do I know
