I'm not to sure you need a spring compressor to put coilovers on a S2000 I do know it is a pain in the ass!

spring compressors not for coilovers but factory springs. if your not careful when you take them off they will shoot off the car

If you uninstall them correctly with no compression on the spring why in the heck would they shoot off? I've put coilovers on a few cars and have never used a spring compressor. Unless the S2000 has some weird suspension setup I don't know about.

its the struts you have to worry about since they are compressed in a cylinder type deal. if its your normal spring and shock there should be no problem.

I can tell LOL just messing with you man! Suspensions are so diffrent on so many cars and it's something if you don't have a lot of experience with you can screw it up. Coilovers aren't to bad of an install on the front but the reas are the pain for the S2K.

because the fuel filler lines run over the top of the shock on the driver's side.
