Default gonna need a starter

ok i'm not sure how accurate my assumtion is but i think i'm going to need a starter. haven't done any research yet but it'll start first thing after it's cooled off overnight but that's it. i was wondering if maybe my clutch could somehow be related to this also. it already gives me trouble trying to get into 2nd but it wasn't tryin to get into ANY gear for about 10 minutes.

off to the under the hood forums...ugh...

well like i said it'll start after it cools off for a few hours but that's it. when i try to start it, i can see the dash lights dim just barely and i can also just barely hear a slight whirring noise.

the whirring noise lets me know the starter is spinning but i guess the bendex is jammed or dried out. i could easily believe this cuz there's 141k on the frame, about 80k on the motor. it's not shot because it starts but it will NOT start when the motor has warmed up. it'll push start though but that gets very old, very quickly.

Off subject I had a small battery in my Evo before I got rid of it but during the winter it wouldn't let it cold start in the morning. I ended up backing into my driveway after work so I could kick start it in the mornings by simply rolling down the hill lol
