what is the general interest in getting together for some Saturday group drives? perhaps instead of just meeting for dinner? would you be interested? and how long would you want them to be (MAX)?

Isn't it "in like Flynn?"

I would love a drive, but I think anything over 2 hours would try my wife's patience

I run down 22 something when I go to NPR from Slidell. It is a great time. I would recommend doing it early in the morning on a Saturday....there are less people out. They always seem to get in my way just before I get to the FUN curves.

another option would be Hwy 182 between Lafayette and Morgan City. very scenic and pretty, some nice curves, but lots of speed traps....
