cool vid but if youre comparing cars by performance why would you race a car around a track with the top DOWN just doesnt make sense to me. They need to put the top on and race again and see what happens but either way they are both hot cars

 

^^ he's right. with the added areo advantage of the CR with a top would make this a different outcome if you ask me. either way, both are nice cars. id rather save 20,000 though and just put the cr suspension on my car, lol.

CR is overpriced IMO and looks fugly! I was surprised the 350 beat it. The 370z looks very promising though. 350hp and 200lbs lighter.

 

LOLOLOLOL @ Bobby. Sam Hubinette is the shizz!!!! Yea I thought it was a pretty sweet vid. The nismo Z is a beast. A few people on my 350Z have it and some have run into problems using it in their normal track classes that they compete in. As far as the CR top up top down. I'm curious to see how that wing affects the performance on the car with it have the top on and off.

 

i dont think top up or top down will matter, only thing different between cr and a normal s2000 is aero, there is no performance increase. unlike the Nismo Z and if i am not mistaken that was an 07, look at the hood.

 

^^^^^^^Yea the USDM nismo Zs are all 07s. The pre 07 nismos are all JDM only models.

 

Another reason for him having the top down might be a problem with head room. I remember at the TDE some people had to have the top down to fin inside with that helmet... 350z has more head room for sure. Cool stuff. Did you ever finish your car James?

 

I never had a problem with headroom and I am 6 foot 2. I dropped it for the temp dfference btw that was the new 07 HR nismo z.
