my cel light came on so i hooked up the tester and it gave me the code p1457.

went online and found the code is P1457 90 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System).

anyone know what the hell that is?

 

I got that code when I installed my K&N air intake, and when my gas cap wasn't on tight.

have you recently installed a new intake? if so make sure your hoses are on correctly. i had mine crossed up when I had that CEL.

 

no. i been running the aem v2 since the week i got my car and ive had my car for almost 7 years now
