Hey just got my new s2k and I live in tyler. Just wanted to know if anyone in here wanted to meet up and hang out some time.

 

Congrats! I hope you enjoy your new S as much as we have enjoyed ours.
There has not be any activity with the Ark-La-Tex Club in months. There are a few us that still enjoy getting together once in a while. We are going to try to get together for a run into Arkansas sometime in late Oct. or early Nov. If you would like to make the trip, send me a PM and I will keep you informed as to a possible date.
The weather and when the leaves are in color will be the determining factor for the date.

Hey man if you are in longview, you ever go down to hallsville. I am right down i 20 from you in lindale it will take me about thirty min to meet up. if you wanna head down to the track sometime just let me know. I posted up a 14.034, at hallsville this past saturday.

some of the guys from tyler formed a E.T. Sports Car Club. It really didn't take off, so most of us just gettogether whenever we can. There are a couple of 911's, a boxster S, a couple of Z06's, and a NSX(me).

Many of us do HPDE with LINK. Would luv so see a s2k out there. The next event we are going to is mid nov at TWS.

There is a 50's - 60's car meet on i think the 2nd thursday of each month at the whataburber on south broadway(in front of the walmart supercenter). we sometimes get together at that. We have done hallesville in the past. fun, but nowhere as fun as a road course.

 

Where is the road course at.

 

get your car broken in first~5k miles on a s2k(if you have new car, make sure u check you oil level weekly). then, sign up forLINK

there is 1.7 mile road course outside of FW that is great for a s2k. and ofcourse tws in college station. a bunch of us are signed up for TDE in TWS in nov.
