May Track Event
Ok guys it seems like we are being premature getting all this stuff together but it will be on us in NO time. Here are the list of things that NEED to be done in order for you to have a succesful trip.
1. Pm Retish (mdxlvr): Your FULL name, Car type and year, and the number of your choice. This will insure we get the discount
2. Make hotel reservations: Keith and I have both made reservations if you want to room with someone just get that decided now, the rooms we stay at have two beds. Pm Keith or I for a recommended one.
3. Go onto theDriversedge.net and get the form for the inspection. Make sure you have things like your insurance and car inspection up to date. The form on the site is for you to print off and get checked off by a technician. Honda does this for a minimal charge here. If you are located in Shreveport call me or go see Chase at Holmes Honda and tell him Bobby sent you.
4. Bring extra cash. In addition to your track payment and hotel stay you will need money for gas and money for food. Dont expect to go out and party or club as you will be DRAINED mentally and physically.
5. Bring extra oil and a tire pressure gauge as you will have to check that after each run.
6. Painters tape to put your number on your car and cover up your front bumper from getting rocks and scratches thrown on you
Recommended:
1. Check tires and get new ones if you are not sure. I would put them on TWO weeks before the event to get them broken in.
2. Get fluids changed like transmission and diff fluid.
3. Change brake fluid. This is almost a must as depending on your driving on the track there have been issues of fluid boiling.
4. After market pads such as the carbotech pads.

You can go there and order some from ricks. AX6 is the pads to get. Little Expensive but WELL worth it

#11 and 12 don't get the discount unless they can get to 20. The discount comes in parcels of 10. Otherwise all of the drivers would just group up in big groups for a discount.
