I liked my Jetta. Good factory car with the 1.8t and you have a little bit of play. However, your maintenace costs are ridiculous when my 02 hit 60k on the clock it was one thing after another. I had it paid off but I was spending car payments each month to get it back on the road. The car wasnt modified in any way except for looks. It has a fun factor but I would maybe hunt around a little more. Any other cars perk your interest?

No.
EDIT: I'll Elaborate a bit. My best friends wife has an 08 Jetta GLI fahrenheit edition. The thing constantly has issues. Lights are always coming on, ect. Had to have the headgasket replaced with less than 50k on the clock. Neat car but too many issues, no thanks.

When its running its a BEAST!!! When I rode in it we were racing a R32, we started in 4th gear from a roll and he was just smoking the tires, he never hooked up. Then he wanted to race my S2000 so we went from 65 MPH I was in third and he was in 5th, i pulled a car length on him, when I got to 95 mph and he flew by...... he was doing like 140mph.
But the car is always broken

Something I'll never understand. It's like saying, "I have a $20m house but we can't go inside of it"
If I'm going to have a car that I can't ever drive, posters are cheaper.
