My Poor running S2000
Hello all,
My name is Bob and I live in Minden, La. I drive in to Shreveport daily, and
have not posted here in a couple of years..
I have an '02 Sebring that usually has the factory hardtop attached, since I commute
daily.
Lately, I have experienced symptoms of miss-fire, (codes 1399, 301,302, etc)
and need an experienced Honda mechanic to sort this out. I have adjusted the
valves, changed the plugs etc, but to no avail.
I don't mind taking it to the dealership, but want to avoid the miss-fire horror stories
I've read about in this forum.
Any help/advise is much appreciated!

Back exhaust, (Apex-i WS), that's about it.
No over-rev, ever. I just adjusted the valves, and the problem was just
as prevalent before the valve adjustment.
Rough Idle, Did the Map sensor whack, but no improvement.
New plugs. Coils ohm out with in spec. Checked fuel pressure, and in
spec. Possibly injectors? Seems unlikely, as I've never had injector
problems with any car..
Check engine light sets. and codes read 1399, (Random Miss fire), and
then the occasional 301, 302, which are specific Cylinder miss fires.
I have researched this problem here at this forum and there are some
real dealership horror stories, and honestly, this car is really testing
my loyalty.
Would really appreciate hearing from someone who is qualified and
experienced with the S2000.
