Default New Mods and Work

Just put in a Saner Front Sway bar, Royal Purple Motor Oil, Changed the Diff Oil to Mobil One, Put in Speed Bleeders and ATE Super Blue.

Been a busy boy. Has anyone done anything else different. I know Eddie, a new front lip (Finally!!!!!!).

That Saner bar is probably one of the best mods you could do to the car. It should make a real difference that you can feel. It'll also get rid of that nasty S2K habit of raising the inside rear wheel in tight turns like a dog taking a leak.

i've got quite the list actually...
but most of my stuff is electronic or stereo related... and some of this is older, but should be listed w/ the pack...

i put in the Alpine 7894 headunit, my Adcom GFA-4304 amp, my Kicker ZR-240 amp, an Elemental Designs e8a.44 8" sub in William's box, 4 gauge power w/ dist. blocks, Focal 165K2's, and a Hornet 700HT alarm w/ a field disruption sensor...
i've also polished my center console area around the shifter and finally got new front tires...

Can't really feel much differrence on the street. The turn in feels a little crisper and the front seems a little more planted. I will be taking it to NPR on June 12th. Hopefully it will dial out some of the oversteer I experienced in PCola and Chalmette.

Phil, how did you polish the area around your shifter?

well, i need to take a lot of pics on all the stuff i've done and post them... but it started out when that greyish coating got scratched by a passenger playing w/ the gear shift and wearing a watch... the scratches were very noticable and bothered me... but i noticed that it was very polished looking below. a little searching later and i found more than a few posts of people who (under similar circumstances) polished all the paint away.

i used a semi-abrasive sponge (think - dish washing sponge w/ the one side terry cloth soft and the other w/ a mesh over the sponge) and some rubbing alcohol. i popped the console out, and taking my time and watching TV simultaneously - it took me about an hour. it left a nice chrome like appearance behind... the only problem is that it shows fingerprints and water spots (ie. dried sweat from when shifting), so the next time i zaino, i'm going to try and put a coat down on it and see if that helps resist some of that...

so far, the only thing installed was a viper 500 and an oem lip. well, i've bought some spoon products (front & rear strut, x brace, radiator & oil cap, and drain plugs) that just came in, but my car has been in the shop for the past week. it took a week for the repair parts to come in, so i can't wait until it's done cuz i'm ready to put my new toys on! i just hope i'll get it back in time to work on it for the baton rouge car show next week. i'm tired of driving this slow ass rental malibu! i miss my S so much!
