Hello All,

I just joined the ranks of S2000 owners when I recently purchased a New Formula Red 2006 S2000. Im just looking to meet fellow S2K owners in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area for advise/words of wisdom, shops that you recommend...etc.

I got the car for a pretty good deal, knowing it needed some TLC. Already getting most of the mechanical work taken care of...then when I get the funds back in order, tackling the few cosmetic issues.

Looking forward to hopefully getting to know some of you.

James, Welcome to the Honda S2000 community! I live in Newton County, Arkansas and have owned my '02 S since 2004. I usually have it serviced at either the Fayetteville HondaPro Shop or the Honda Dealer there. Both do excellent work. Check out the Boston Mountains Tour (BMT) threads on this site for information on these major semi-annual events for Honda S2000, NXS, plus a few other sports cars held early spring and late fall in NW Arkansas. This fall the 16th BMT will be held, and these events draw 35-45 sports cars from six different states. There is never a registration fee for the all-day (Saturday only) spirited driving tour which usually start and end in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Jerome

James:

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the world of the S2K! I too, have a 2006 in NFR and am in Fayetteville. I don't live there full time, but when I am there, I am usually driving the car at least a little bit.

I bought the tires at Firestone on 45 and Mission, and am very happy with them.

As Jerome said, the BMT is a great, all-day spirited drive, and is a lot of fun. Watch this forum for details. I'll next be in town for Bike Blues and BBQ, but will most definitely be driving the car a little bit. I'll look for another NFR '06. If you see a red Honda motorcycle or a red Harley wave at you, that'll be me if I'm not in the S2k.

James:

I saw you today southbound on College Ave. I waved from my maroon Harley. Good looking car, it looks just like mine!

Welcome James!

The BMT that people are referring to is here:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/109...vember-1-2014/

This is a great opportunity to meet many S2K and other sports car owners. Let us know if you want to join

Andy
