Alright peoplez, i have been using Royal Purple 10w30 for quite a while now..i seem to have to add a quart every 2 weeks or so..anyone else have oil consumption problems..

 

Wow, a full quart every two weeks? Have you cleaned or changed out your PCV valve? Might try running Amsoil 10w30 and see if burns/consumes less.

 

Trust me, Amsoil is my ideal motor oil but i can only pick some up when i am home in Wisconsin..their website is too expensive..ironically im a Amsoil distributor but i just havent filled out the paper work yet haha..

 

Yeah... I love me some Amsoil! That seems a little high, even for an AP1!

 

How many miles do you put on the car in 2 weeks?

 

ummm i travel bout 30 ish miles a day..

 

Do you use your brakes pretty heavily?

 

heavily? umm no not lately..just upgraded to some super sweet Axxis Ultimates bout 2 months ago

 

ap1 loves oil, that is high though it turns out to 200 miles a week?

 

Seems way high. I use Mobil 1 synthetic and have no issues at all, but then again I have an AP2.
