Default Project MR2

some of you saw my post where i had ran a new lancer down in my current "DD". long story short a friend needed help paying bills and let go of his car for a cheap price. I do plan on selling it but i want to fix her up a little bit as the outside needs some TLC. I will post before and after pics. a little specs: 92 Toyota MR2 turbo, red. car runs great and Jose and James both can tell you the car is as quick as can be. Michael also got to ride in it. anyway i will post pics of Tuesday as I will be doing a major overhaul to the appearance. Currently she is sleeping in the garage

as you can see there is alot of oxydation on the paint

after clay bar and a wash

after using the paint cleaner on the hood

and this was a huge difference. i clay bard the headlight as you can see the difference

Finished detail!!

LOOK CAREFULLY IN THE BACK GROUND YOU CAN SEE MICHAEL DOING THE "RICER FLYBY"!!!

Back and forth motion, no swirls.

Also on an older car you may clay bar off some paint, so beware, if you start seeing too much color on your towel, stop.

Yea when I did use the clay bar it looked as if someone waxed it but did not take it off. There was a lot of dirt in the paint but it seemed to come out. I will post pics tomorrow
