So i lost i suppose to my buddy's charger rt..Went from a 40 roll in 2nd..I pulled till i hit 4th..Once i hit 4th he pulled past me..So i lost damn it..O well stock v8 vs stock 4 cylinder what do you expect lol..Win some lose some..lol..O and i got pulled over after..But he let me off..Just said do that stuff some where safer..lol..Was on I-49..

Ya i know this dang it lol..O well we had a bet..If i lost i had to ask this chick out from work..and if i won he was ganna post "Shaffer's s2000 is the best car ever" on his face book lol..but i lost..So it miiiight work out in my favor who knows lol
dont feel bad about it i got my ass handed to me against a 06 mustang gt that i thought was stock. apparently he has full ehaust and and a nitrous tune with a 50 shot. the worst part is after the run my gf was all like "his car was faster than yours". i hate losing......

actually, i had a friend that had nitrous on his supercharged RX7 that he used daily. We actually used it as our Senior Captstone project. We showed that technically a NOS helps to lower your engine temp.... sort of. It was that the temp went up just a little, but he had a good power boost so the ratio of temp to power was better with the NOS.
Anyway, he set it up to just give a pretty small shot (forget the size), and it was tied into his cars computer. It wasnt until he was past 75% gas throttle that it would kick in. To be honest it felt similar to the VTEC on the S2ks, just that it was based on how far he had his foot down instead of his RPMs. One sorta small tank lasted him weeks.

Most of your advanced nitrous kits are that way. Not switched enabled like F&F but TPS and/or gear selective. On my Evo it had nozzles for spraying the IC when it was hot outside. You could use water or nitrous. Thats why people can use water but you get a better effect with nitrous, its not that it is flamable (F&F showed that it was) but it is that more can be injected adding more compression while also cooling the motor.
Out of curiousity what gen RX-7 was it? I would assume 2nd?
