Default Saying Hello

Hey Guys (gals if exist). My name is Andy, and have been a member here for about a year, but never posted in this section. I currently have an 01 Integra GS-R with JDM motor swap, but I hope to have an S2K by spring of next year, I love them, and I am sold on every aspect that the S2K has to offer.
I work with another member here who encouraged me to post after talking cars a little (Keith, chime in here, I forgot your username ). I am a member of numerous forums, and have honorary membership to a few forums/clubs: AcuraZine, AcuraClubDWF, Team-Integra, and my username is always Chopper.
I previously owned a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL with the J32A2 VTEC motor, with a few mods.
I love going to meets, so if you all allow other cars besides S2k's then I'd be more than happy to come. I Love travel as well, and have been to Dallas, Austin, and Houston numerous times for meets, needless to say I enjoy getting together with car enthusiasts like myself.

Welcome Andy......from the "papa" of the group. We love to roll with other cars.....esp Acuras. You dont happen to have an NSX in you garage do ya?......lol..........didnt think so.

Come on out to our next event or meet. I think that you will meet lots of nice people who happen to be gearheads.

Start saving up your money. Id love to have you roll with us to the next HPDE school.

When you get ready to get your S, be sure and post up on here so we can tell you if it's been thrashed or not. We seem to be aware of many, if not most in town.

Thanks fot the welcome Iceman, and "papa" lol... I wish I had an NSX, that would be a keeper. Thanks also for the invite to the next event, with the exception of me being out of town, I'll be there.

I agree also with posting prospective cars on forums to find out if anyone knows any history on them, because I try to get the best pick of the litter I can, so if there is any negativity associated with them, I will turn it down.

BTW Iceman, your engine bay looks hot, nice blower, can't wait to check that out in person. I was next to an S2k thursday night that turned into the best buy parking lot (I saw pillar guages), was that you ? My GS-R is silver with HID's

Well it's not really a straight line performer, in the turns is where she really shines.
Well unlike some, my car is a GS-R, not just the GS-R motor.
B18C3 Motor Code: 10:6:1 Compression Ratio(JDM Bottom end), USDM B18C1 Cams. Good for about 180 HP over the 170 HP USDM motor. I dyno'd 145 to the wheels with just an AEM CAI... And Ran a 15.2 @ 94 with the only engine mod being the AEM CAI. I HAD a really nice exhaust setup: DC Sports Stainless Steel JDM 4-1 Header (2.5" Collector, T1R 2.5" Test Pipe, and T1R 2.5" Cat back Exhaust, BUT parted it all out because I planned on selling the car. I never got a chance to track it with that setup, and I kick myself all the time for never getting to do it because I know there was a substatial power gain in the butt dyno, lol.. I was going to go an all motor route, but then decided I want another car (S2K)
Now All I have is my suspension (Tein SS) and Comptech Type-R Cat Back Exhaust.
