Default Seat Warmers

I've really been looking into getting some seat warmers. After searching the forums, the Gateway club had a pretty big discussion on it and even set up a install day. Does anyone here have experience with seat warmers? I think Gateway was using Autowarm found at: http://www.autowarm.com/products.php Anyone up for a group deal?

I'd be interested to see what it's all about. Looks nifty. It's definately not anything I've ever really thought I needed though... obviously from a regional point of view, seat coolers would make much more sense

They would be cool to have in the winter, but I'm broke.
Did find this nice thread about them though including some install pics

I got in on the Gateway install and count them as one of the best non engine mods I have done. They are great for when you'd expect, top down drives in coolish weather. But I like them best as a built in heating pad for my back when I've been driving too long.

Thanks for the info guys. After giving it a little bit of thought, I'm probably gonna hold off as it doesn't get that cold in this region.

When you decide to install the seat chillers......add me to the list!!!

The seat warmers are fantastic, I've had them for almost 2 years. I drive with the top down 98% of the time and they make my ride warm and toasty. Before the snow arrived this week, I took a few people out to look at Christmas lights and they were amazed at how great it was to tour around in the winter. I also do a fair amount of late evening and early morning drives in the spring and fall and definitely suggest having them.

I agree with Dirtybird, they are great on easing the muscles if you take long drives.

I was lucky and got in on the first group buy that Gateway had. We drove to St. Louis on a freezing February weekend in 2008 and drove home in total comfort with the top down (until the heavy snow made us pull over for the night - as you may know the S sucks on ice and snow). If you have any questions about the install of these, talk to Gateway, they are an absolutely great group of people.

I did mine in an afternoon and its been fantastic lately. perfect for a cool topdown night too. Best mod ive ever done imo. It's not too difficult really. Hardest part was pulling the bolts to get the seats out.
