Thanks for everything guys...intake is in beast mode, got smoked by a hemi charger srt rolling at 75 mph on the way back to thibodaux though, figured i'd give it a shot cuz he kept messin with me lol. I had him from the end of fourth and beginning of 5th gear, after that it was bye bye domestic...blaaaaah lol. Ole well, i'm still happy

 

where in thibodaux your from? I use to go to nicholls in 04, I have family in Larose, but live in Metairie now.

How do the brakes feel?

 

responsive, but I cant tell until i get some better brake pads, I bought some duralast crap and they squeal like no ones business

 

Store-bought pads shouldn't squeal (they generally aren't aggressive enough). You need that orange goop to dampen the vibrations.

 

North Thib, if you went to nicholls then I probably saw you around here somewhere lol, small town. I got a black, actually gunmetal looking Injen Sp intake system, sounds awesome. Had a civic back in the day that I put an aluminum polished race division Injen intake on, it worked great and sounded good as well...I've been an Injen intake buyer since. Sounds a lot better on the S though, can feel more pull as well and amazingly...my car is noticeably running better, feels more healthy. Never really cared for AEM...Injen makes the world's first tuned intake, they also include extras with the intake that AEM doesn't, such as all the tie straps needed for vaccum lines, rubber cushion for impact to put between lower bracket on lower half of intake tubing, and also a polish kit to keep it looking right. Injen also makes a Hydro Shield that goes around your intake filter which repels water but allows airflow, doesn't affect power or suction. It doesn't come with the intake, but you can buy it online.

 

we need to re check compression next time as we didn't quite have the right technique. engines should have been warm and gas pedal should have been pumped during the test. That's why we were getting 170-180 psi ranges.
